For the final exam of my directing class, my team and I produced an audio drama titled "A Nomadic Gathering." The plot centers around a citywide blackout that forces neighbors in a rented house to come together. As they get to know each other, they begin sharing chilling horror stories, only to encounter a real spooky occurrence in the dark.
For the final exam of my directing class, my team and I produced an audio drama titled "A Nomadic Gathering." The plot centers around a citywide blackout that forces neighbors in a rented house to come together. As they get to know each other, they begin sharing chilling horror stories, only to encounter a real spooky occurrence in the dark.
In this project, I was responsible for all aspects of sound production. I recorded the dialogue and ambient sounds, created foley effects to enhance the atmosphere, and performed detailed sound editing and designing to build suspense. My goal was to craft a soundscape that not only supports the narrative but also heightens the sense of dread and anticipation, ultimately delivering spine-chilling moments and jump scares for the audience. The mixing and mastering processes were carefully executed to ensure the audio drama sounds cohesive and immersive, creating a truly engaging and terrifying experience.
